It’s good to be home from Africa… I think. My body thinks it is 2:00 in the morning so I’m a bit brain dead. But that isn’t about to stop me from discussing some of my observations from Uganda in 2018.

The thing I’d like to focus on today is Poverty. Why is it that people that live in homes win dirt floors, no electricity, no running water, no access to clean drinking water, and dressed in tattered clothing seem to have a semblance of contentment where as people in the US suffer from depression, addictions, and suicide?

That is the conversation I’d like to have today.
